Coilover not adjusting right?

I am having issues with my suspension ( KW V1)
I bought a set of used coilovers, the fronts are fine, but the rear will not adjust evenly, I have the driver side at 3 turns from the top. And the passenger side at 11 turns from the top. This is the only way I can get the rear to be an equal height. Is this normal? the mechanic tested the shocks and said they seemed alright, he thought the issue was the springs. We swapped them, and the passenger side is still at 11 turns to balance the car. So can the shocks be the problem? What can the issue be? Or is this normal?

What do you think it can be? I had the car since it was brand new, never had and problem with the suspension...

Mine was like this (not quite 11 turns lol! ) until my springs settled....also BMW sets suspension higher on driver side to compensate for driver weight.

Pretty sure my coilovers are the same way (KW V1). They're not even at all when it comes to actual threads on the coilovers, but even on the wheel gap. I really don't know what the problem is.

Just adjusted mine, keep in mind you have to screw in the strut in the rear in and out (lower/heighten) however you need to so the adjuster is slightly loose when on jack stands.

I took the whole rear out, adjusted it to three threads on on each side then bolted everything in. The height on each side is significantly different, about 1/2 inch lower on the passenger side. Idk which side is messed up. The lower side or higher. The driver side at three turns from the top has a finger gap. The other sider tAkes 11 turns

You probably shouldn't worry about it. There will always be a variance. Also make sure you measure the ride height on level surface such as alignment rack.

I'd say it's all the cars. Can't really have everything symmetrical to a mm haha

OP, it's actually a nice benefit of coilovers allowing you to fine tune the ride height. Ideally, you'd corner balance it, but not really necessary for street use.

So having one at 3 turns and the other at 11 is normal? And I can fix it by corner balancing it, if I choose to?

There is nothing to fix more than likely, it's normal. Corner balance won't make your spring perch adjustments even, maybe even more off. What it would do is even the diagonal cross weights of the car for best weight balance.

Research corner weighting/ balancing. They probably should not be the same "number of turns'

It's normal. Happens on other cars too. My Infiniti FX is about 1/2" higher on driver's side. I never noticed it when stock, but then saw it with lowering springs. Now with coilovers I have to adjust them differently to compensate. Also on previous Nissan and Acura, same issue to different degrees.

Ill try to measure them tonight and post pics. I have a 19" wheel set up. From what I remember the front is at 23 1/4 inch
and the rear driver side is 23 1/4 inch and the passenger side is 23.(After going 11 turns I stopped thinking this is too much)

But I will post exact numbers tonight.

also, if you make adjustments to one corner, it can affect the opposite corner's height. So if you turn the front left down, it can sometimes cause the rear right to go up a bit.

Ideally I want my height to be lower than stock, but I understand this is a good reference point.

I'm ~0.5" lower than stock but, whoa! You're way on the down low....

You gotta have aftermarket perches to have sufficient travel, am I right? I'd look there + adjusters first....how about spring height....matched left/right?

Sorry I am a complete noob to suspension. I didn't even think I was that low lol. The perches are all from the kw v1 set. What do you mean by spring height? How can I test it?
