Hi All,

Wierd one, my rear passenger side footwell is pretty damp. Wierd bit for me is that its damp at the bottom of the footwell, no side parts are wet that would indicate where the leak is coming in

My car is parked diagonally on my drive and this footwell is the lowest point. looking under the car there is no wetness to any of the undertray's.

I'm stumped......

What bits of the car are very easy to take off and are likely to help me find the source?

e92, 2006 Sept build....nearly 100k on the clock.

Thanks,

Windshield replaced recently? The blower motors are known to crap out on these cars and exhibit the same symptoms yours is.

I would always advise to check the membrane behind the door card as its quick and easy to do. You won't necessarily see or feel any dampness on the sides.

Windsheild was replaced about 4 months ago. Don't quite see how that would cause a leak in the rear footwell. Care to explain?

Seen some other posts about door cards. As I need to have them off to adjust the window angle for wind noise, this seems like a good time to get that done and out the way.
