back in a e90 but worried about car getting stolen

as title, been on the dark side for while(audi a3 black edition) but couldnt resist no longer when cheap m sport came up. so now happy chappy once again. but recently heard some horror stories with the theft of bmw threw obd reader.Is there any way of preventing this?

Bmw have got a security update available, but only if your car is 2007 onwards, even though the e90 is 2005 onwards.

Just hide the ODB port.

Takes a few minutes, and gives peace of mind.
