Hey everyone,

Unfortunately, we have run into some problems manufacturing our driveshafts and are looking into see what can be done. Thanks for the interest, and I will update the thread as soon as we get these problems figured out.

Thanks

I work with a startup located here in Southern California called Thorough Concepts, and we are trying to gauge interest in the community for aftermarket driveshafts for BMWs.

Michael Essa just installed a Thorough Concepts Aluminum 1-piece driveshaft on his FormulaD E46 that he's building for the 2013 season, and we would like to know if the E90 community would be interested in such a product.

We offer steel and aluminum 1-piece driveshafts. Our steel driveshaft would be about 4-5 lbs lighter than stock and cost ~$300-350, while our aluminum driveshaft would be about 9 lbs lighter and cost ~$400-450. As these driveshafts are able to hold up for FormulaD, they are very strong and would not need to be replaced unless damaged in an accident.

Please let us know if you would be interested in such a product, or of any questions or comments you have.

Thanks
Whatever happen to this? Does anyone make a 1 piece drive shaft for our car? Or even one that will connect to the 335 Tran and to a M3 dif?
