Any 335is Convertible 6-speed manuals?

Hello,
I thought I'd see who else out there (besides a buddy of mine who ordered one after driving mine) has the 335is in a convertible with a MT6? I am under the impression that there aren't really any stick shift 335is convertibles out there.

Anyone have one? Please share...

+1 for $70k, no way I would spend that on a 3 series (other than M3)... Luckily I snagged my 335IS for $10k off sticker.

There aren't even that many mt6 cars period.

I snagged my 09 335 mt6 m-sport convertible a year ago and still consider myself lucky.

Yes, I think you should. It is a pure joy to drive. Any pics of yours?

Yes, I special ordered mine way back in '08...when I was still unsure of paddle shifters and heard too many problems with them at that time. No regrets however...nothing like manually shifting uphill on a winding mountain road with the top down!

I believe most 335is e93s came with the dct. Seems more "reasonable/purposeful" if it was a e92 with a manny trans. A lot of enthusiasts have different opinions whether or not the 335is should be driven with the dct or manual but being the only 3 series besides the M3 to have dct seemed pretty special. Brian cooley from cnet car tech test drove a coupe in the manual trans and suggested that people get it in the manual for coupe and pretty much bone stock. In this case we have the e93. Technically and generalizing, verts are more for cruising so dct seems purposeful. Although the car was meant to be pushed so the manual does seem purposeful as well.

TLDR most dealers know the coupe would match the manual better and th vert the dct better, therefore most verts came with dct and the manuals needed to be special ordered. Disclaimer: i might be very very wrong. Do you have pics of your car

I'll have to post pics from my other laptop. My car is pretty basic: Jet Black, Black Dakota, and Anthracite wood trim...thus BoBoB, with Dinan wheels...no other visible cosmetics other than the entire front quarter of the car has a clear bra which I'm currently having removed to repaint the larger rock dings I've received over the years.

BTW, I'd like to plan a second E93 meet and drive up Angelus Crest Hwy and up to Mt. Wilson. It was quite fun to have a bunch of verts caravan and do a photo shoot up there. I'm thinking either a Sat or Sun in September. Let me know if you'd be interested...or anyone else that reads this! Once I figure out a date, I'll start posting.

Recently took mine on a 1,500 mile road trip which included the Smoky Mountains. My 335is cab manual performed brilliantly and was a blast to drive. I have to have a manual transmission. As good as today's DCT is, for me there is nothing more gratifying the slotting it into gear, engaging the clutch, and feeling your neck strain as you head gets pulled back. I have had many many other cars: e92/90/93 M3's, 911, M5's, etc. and I'm amazed at how incredibly well the 335is manual cab just does everything so well. It just has a "rightness" to it.
