I bought a bit of a list this month:

2 rear tyres (Hankook v12)
12 months road tax
Milltek catless downpipes
rebuild for both turbos (done twice and still rattle a bit)
2 oil changes due to turbos coming off twice
brake fluid change
Evolve FMIC
Evolve stage2 remap
Lots of petrol!!

It was a pretty pricey month

NO - not on the dash - never!

No good for that, it's great for engine bay plastics, footwell kick panels, door seals, m sport black bumper inserts and the big black bumpers on my van, but never on the dash - you'll get dazzled!!

Surely no one recommended it for the dash??

I know it is frustrating... But our n54 turbo wastegates will always rattle a little due to the design unfortunately.

The wastegates can be adjusted by using the latest jb4 which can potentially stop the rattle on new or rebuilt turbos and minimize the rattle on turbos which are old and the rattle has got progressively worse.

yeah some people may like it but if you really want that matte finished original look, i dont think the provides it really, and it feels odd afterwards. It might be matte enough for some but not me. Lukcily i only bought a sample so didnt waste too much.

Honestly I still think that a good clean with a damp microfibre cloth is all thats needed to bring back the original finish. I might try einszett cockpit cleaner next, just to see if i can give the dash some protection, but im not sure its needed

Yep, the main dash needs nothing more than a damp cloth in a very weak dose of mild detergent (few drips of flash etc).

Then pat-dry with lint free teatowel or similar, any products invariably leave it shiny or uneven,

Feedback on Gliptone leather conditioner:

Smell seems strong, a bit dodge at first but I think after a couple days of working into the leather its meant to change. Also shiny at first but meant to change matte as it works in. So far so good, even brushed lightly over the dash just for kicks.

Will try the BH clay bar on a sunny day

That sounds like the service I need to do very soon!

Did you do the work yourself? Or get a pro?
When you did the gearbox oil change, did you go as far as changing the sump and filter? Or just the fluid?
Does the diff have a filter too?

I bought the 2.2 gallon trunk mount. I just got the car on the 2nd of march and then shipped it on the 15... I've only got to drive the car for 13 days and then once I got back to England I decided to just go all out and buy everything at once. Next I will work on suspension (KW coil overs, H&R sways and Cusco Strut bar) then I need to make it look not so stock haha

also considering the RB turbo upgrade.

Yeah, I am hoping to try and take it out to the track before I head back to the USA. I've always been an American muscle guy, but now I've got the BMW and love it more than my old Trans Am WS6 and Mustang GT. I'll probably stop spending money when I hit 10K (US Dollars). For all the purchases already I've paid $5100 or 3325 including shipping. so I've spent that much in less than 2 weeks.

Wait to see what the Vargas stage 3's make before pulling the trigger on the RB's. Early signs they are hitting nearly 600bhp on 91 pump and meth.
