air intake tubes

So I decided to put my stock air intake back on, as I''ll be going into the dealership for some work....

Anyway, taking DCI Injen was pretty easy.... Now, the damn air intake tubes are a PITA to attach back to the stock air intake housing....

Has anyone done this ? and perhaps holds that magical move that could help me get this done ? (parts : 13717556550 and 13717556549)... #6 in the picture

It does not seem to align well, and when it does, #6 does not slide in that deep into both ends on the housing....

Thanks !

Why did you have to remove your dci? I went to dealer with DCI and Dp's and they said they don't care.. As long as those items don't cause a problem with anything else it's all good.

My extended warranty is with CoverageOne... If repairs are over 1K, they will send an adjustor to inspect my car, prior to approving the repair....
