Avant Garde M359 on the car and rolling

Finally the rims are on the car

Picked up my set from Simply Tire on Friday.

Let me tell you, pictures dont do it justice. These wheels look so sick on the car. I was thinking of wrapping the aluminum trim around the windows, but now with hyper silver wheels the trim look amazing.

The over all handling of the car is unreal. 275s Hankook V12 on the rear are amazing.

Big thanks to Allan and the crew of Simply Tire for making it a smooth purchase.

Avant Garde M359
19" Hyper Silver
Front: 9" 35-offset 235/35/19 (originally was going with 245 tire however they were on back order)
Rear: 10" 38-offset 275/30/19
Tires: Hankook Ventus V12

Nice wolf!! I'm glad you made your final decision to go with the GB with Simply! Just got my wheels/tires on Saturday and they look sick! Never knew your car was a SG too! we're pretty much twins

how are 275 v12s in the rear? any rubbing issues? are you lowered? rolled fenders?
I originally wanted to have 275 in the back but was afraid it might rub cuz I'm lowered so went with 265 instead.

Concave is amazing. You can serve salad in that concave as a bowl and feed a family of 10.

No noise at all, very smooth and very responsive.

Finally the wheel shopping headache is over. Glad you're happy with your purchase. Gotta meet you in person one day and put a face to the name.

275 are amazing, the grip is unreal. No slippage, no mushy feeling.

Im not lowered, just oem sport suspension. So far no rubbing. Still have to try and load the car with 4 people and see what happens. Fenders are not rolled. If youre lowered 265 is your best bet, i think you would definitely rub with 275. Space is limited.

Looks great! I'm going with the same setup except I'm going to put 245/35/19 up front. It should be fine right? I was more worried about 275/30 in the rear but it seems to be just fine for you. Oh plus I'm gonna go matte black.

My biggest regret with these wheels is not getting the 245 on the front.

Stock delta between front and back is 30mm. You are pushing 40mm. I would actually recommend 20mm. Are you experiencing a lot of understeer?

Factory RWD BMWs are prone to understeering rather than oversteering even though they are RWD. The reason is because it's easier to control understeer than oversteer. However, for an experienced driver, it also means the car will sometimes not go where you point it and that one cannot "throttle steer" a car. Hence, the easy fix to the problem is to have wider front tires, which provides more grip up front to counter understeer. This is part of the reason why certain BMW owners prefer the "square" setup.

With your setup, you increased your front width by 10MM, and back by 20MM. That means, even though you have increased grip up front, you have also increased grip more so at the back. Hence, the car will now is even more likely to understeer now. To experience this, you would have to be cornering very hard. This is not an issue otherwise.

I see what you mean now. I have not experienced any understeer even when pushing it at the highway ramps. I cant speak for track use as i dont have any track experience.

Wolf 335, the m359s are out of stock till end of June so I went with the Rohana RC5s instead. I was just wondering with your 38 offset and 275 tires, was there enough room to fit an offset of 40 and 275s?

It gonna be tight and i think you might rub. I would post that question in the wheel section, maybe someone running those specs can confirm for sure.

You mean massive body roll, a steering system that is not connected to the front wheels, and the engine note played through the speaker system?!?!?!?!

I got them on and it fits. I'll be putting on 5mm spacers too since I already ordered them.
