kw v1 settings

I just got a set of kwv1s for my 335xi and installing them Monday. On stock 18" wheels and tires.

1) I want about a 1 finger gap, what height should I ask them to be installed at? It can be a higher, to account for settling and whatnot, and I will probably be adjusting them slightly lower after I see how they ride. Should I just ask them to keep it all the way up until I have a chance to adjust them down? Then I would probably need to have the car corner ballanced, which I want to try and avoid by having them installed at a relatively close height to 1 finger gap as I can at the shop so they can just do it all at the same time.

2) is all the way up considered stock?

3) when adjusting, is the front 1:1 and rear 1:1.8? (i found this info on a 1 series thread)
