LI rotates the emitter diodes in the vertical BMW packages. If you mount the standard units vertically they work poorly.

If properly installed they work identically. I don't understand why someone would even post pics of a BMW grille with horizontal sensors carved into it, now that the vertical units are available.

Have you tested your setup against off-axis shots? Testing I have seen shows the vertical orientation recessed like yours doesn't do well against off-axis. Head-on shots, sure they do well but increase the angle and the LI's will miss the lidar shot.

Vertical don't do we'll.Ive tested in the field and when hit with off axis you get PT at around 500ft or more. When installed in the grill the receiver does not see the lidar beam witch will not alert.

The white bmw 335i in front of headlights with slit angle to them I was JTG and that will protect the whole front of the car including off axis shots.Triple head setup is best for max performance Three heads.

Around here overpass use is the most common, and what the client was most concerned about. It was installed per the client's request. If you make the LI too obvious, you're getting a ticket regardless - it has to be stealthy enough to not attract attention and not make your BMW look ugly.

Why would you get a ticket if jammers aren't illegal in your state?

"several states have passed laws that specifically prohibit the use of laser jammers, including: Alaska, California, Colorado, Illinois, Minnesota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas. The legality of laser jammers in Nebraska and Washington, D.C. is disputed.[5]"

My jammers are obvious and I've never gotten a ticket for them.

Yea, kinda sucks for you because jammin' is illegal in IL. You have to sacrifice performance for stealth.
