How did you get the front so low with the Pro-Kit? What struts are you running?

You didn't have any issues running 335i springs on our 335xi/Xdrive? Seriously considering going this route.

Jeebus dude,

Eibach DOES NOT make springs for the XI. You HAVE to use I springs, and they work just fine.

Calm down dude... I've already knew that.

I've READ the thread and I'm just getting clarification from HIS (SaviorXi) specific post/setup since he posted the part number, someone else asked about his specific setup also as SaviorXi's ride height looks great.

I swear people on this forum are quick to flame. smh.

No problems at all. I love the setup. The drop is perfect and the ride quality is good.

If you look at this thread you will see my lack of drop with the same setup. Why is your car so much lower than mine?

We shall see, I have a Sedan (posted stock on last page)... Have the Eibach 2092.140 sitting here, looking at them now... and the UPS man should literally be here within hours with my Bilstein Sport struts... I'll post up pics once I have it all in. I am replacing the upper strut mounts front and rear while i'm in there.

and to answer someone else's question, and since this thread has somewhat misleading info on the bumps..... Yes they are internal on the Front struts at the bottom of the strut and they come with the Rears externally. So no need to even think about bumpstops with this setup, just use the struts and it should be golden!

Cant wait to put it all in!

Got the Eibach & Bilstein's put in today & car aligned (I'm going to align it again once it's settled in 3-4 weeks)

HOLY CRAP, this setup is straight up amazing... Car does NOT look any lower yet, I'll have to take measurements. Which I cant quite yet, took over to the dealer for some CPO work, but once I get it back I will take another hub center to fender measurement.

The Ride is sooooooo much improved in every aspect BMW should be ashamed they let the 335Xi leave the factory in such a poor handling condition. The bounciness is GONE, the ride is wayyy smoother, car stays 100% flat now during high speed lane changes and feels like it's on rails. No bodyroll whatsoever now. Cant wait to see if that goddamn understeer is gone... I couldn't tell yet because I only drove a few miles after putting it all in up to the dealer.

Even if I get no drop I will still be totally pleased with it just for performance alone. 100% improvement in every single aspect. I am floored by how good it is; really.....

Stock height with the 19's was 14.5" Front 14" Back from middle hub to fender, which resulted in about a 1.5" fender gap up front and 1" out back...

LOL, that was funny, I will post them up. The dealer, as usual is keeping my ride multiple days again...

The car did feel lower while I was driving it, but I only got to drive a few miles from the indy shop to the dealer. Once it breaks in a bit I will throw up some before & after pics & the lowered measurements vs stock.

Lowered Sedan with Eibach/Bilstein

Got about 1" all around now that it's all settled, I should have done the 335i tophats and lowering perches in the front and the drop would have been about 1/4" to 1/2" more in the front and it would have been perfectly level. But then again any more may have compromised ride integrity, which is perfect now.

This new setup with the 19" wheels and non run flats rides smoother that the stock suspension and runflat tires did. It also handles much, MUCH better! No more understeer! Smooth over bumps, you can still feel the road, but it got rid of that bouncy crap the stock ride had. The car just holds the road now, it's great.

If your debating on this setup stop and just do it

Looks perfect.
Its time for M subframe bushings and rear sway.

I'm running 10/18 F/R with my winter setup (189s). None necessary for the CSL Reps. Offsets leave them pretty flush.

Thanks!

I thought about it and decided whatever minor performance I may gain will never justify the cost for me. This setup has 100% eliminated any understeer I was able to get before. Like flooring it going left onto a freeway on-ramp. Used to understeer like crazy, totally gone now!

Edit: I can now get the car to OVERSTEER on a dry road, with traction control 100% ON, and new Y grade tires...
And Yes it's an Xi and No i dont have a LSD lol

I dont track the car and it's my sole vehicle and DD so I dont think I push it hard enough on the street to need the M bushings and rear sway. If I had endless $ to throw at it would be one thing, but unfortunately that's not the case LOL

Now if I keep this baby forever and end up making it a track car.....
