June 2007 320d - Air Con problem - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

It all started with an engine noise after 378 miles from new, car spent 2 weeks at a dealer, and 4 compressors (+ 1 pully + 1 valve), I left for a 2 week family holiday to the South of France, and the F"£!$g AC gave up again!!! I spent the rest of my holiday without AC, and got an other replacement car yesterday, and my car is back with the original dealer.

Has anyone heard of similar AC issues?

well it definately 'aint the compressor then!!! sounds to me that there might be a blockage within the refrigeration system (moisture) ??? causing the system to block

tell the stealer that your ordered a car with A/C so SORT IT!!!!

Consider rejecting it if they dont fix it sharpish!

Sounds like you should get it taken to an independent AC man and get a report on it and charge BMW UK/Stealer the report. It'll save you a lot of grief I think if you decide to reject the car.

After all the AC man will know lots more than the stealer will.
