Reminds me of my Uni days. I spent the first year in halls that were level with the approach to the local airport. A guy came in one day in a twin piston engined aircraft with one engine out. You could hear the alarms going off in the background but despite repeated offers from the tower he declined to declare an emergency and put it down safely like it was an every day occurance.
