Anyway to keep only the halos on while driving?

I love the way the halos look. I just wish I could keep only the halos on while I driving. Is there anyway to do that?

MMMM...The settings are in the iDrive.
Called "daytime running lights". Check the box and they will switch on and switch off when you start and turn off the car even when the light cluster switch is set to 0.
I have also noticed that when you have LED Angel Eyes (LUX in my case) that they will be noticeably brighter than if manually switched on as regular park lights mode....

I put in some Depo headlights in my car, didn't have angel eyes until recently. I have my daytime running lights turned off through the dash computer. When I turned the knob to the first one on the right the angel eyes only are on. I believe the yellow side marker bulb is lit too. In the next click to the right, my headlights in the projector glass and the angel eyes are also on whenever the car is on.

One click to the left from the off position is automatic which will keep your angel eyes and headlights both either off or on depending on the light. You need to manually flip the angel eyes on and off using the knob from the off position and the first click because the lights will continue to stay on after the car is off, if you leave the knob in the on position.

Pretty much all there is about headlights and bulbs in there..

If you have an older e90, you'd have to either get an Amber delete coded and then turn on your parking lamps, or get one of those Daeos DRL kits. Typically e92's have it as DRL already.

Some people have to get it coded, other e90's just switch to the parking lights to have them on and drive around like that. If you have a updated computer on your instrument panel then you could change it from there.

how much does it generally cost to get the code removed? I have an 08 BMW 328xi and every time the car is on daytime lights, the halos go away and i get two halogen lights.

If you have FRM2 or newer you can code the AE as DRL on E90.
