New 1 Series Coupe

Opinions?
Will go like the proverbial shit off a shovel with the twin turbo stuck under the bonnet.
I think it would look better with some different shoes.

it will be the prettiest car in it's price range and probably the most fun with RWD.

the front bumper is still not as nice as it could be. I would prefer if they carried over the looks of the 3er.

Audi understands this continuity. When you buy an audi you choose the size of the car that you want and the number of doors, then you pay accordingly but they all pretty much look the same.

BMW is missing a little bit of that.

My missus really likes it and fancies one. It looks a bit like an e36 with an e92front on it. Five diesels and only one petrol engine version, trouble is non of the diesels are the twin turbo six variety.

Regards

Chris

Something just looks wrong about it, can't quite put my finger on it. It is like they just drew a dodgy lookin boot on a one series, not a big fan.

Its the boot I don't particularly like, and the fact its not quite as flowing as the 3 series coupe. Maybe when I see one in the flesh I will change my mind.

Agreed, I think it's that the rear window is too steep and the boot too short. Looks like a 3er coupe that's been whacked from the back to me. Will be v quick in 135i trim though.

It will get the twin turbo eventually,it's a given!

I think it's a shape that will grow on you,I disliked the new 5 series when it first appeared as I did when the new 3 Series came on the scene.

Today I really like the 5 series (in sports dress) and of course the new 335D sports coupe is on order,so that speaks for itself!

I love it, side on it looks like a "retro" E30 and from the front it looks like a 1er which IMO is a great looking car (not that I`m biased )
