JTSherri Spacers?

Hey guys... I PMed JTSherri for 1/4" Underseat Kicker SMB8 spacers...

I haven't heard back from him and I know that I read something a while back about the fact that he may not be offering these anymore.

Does anyone know any other ways to get a hold of him? (his account says he hasn't been on the forum since 2/11)

If that wont work I dont have the tools needed to make spacers... can anyone suggest anywhere else I can get these or something similar that will work?

I'm quite sure he is still making them. I checked in March 2013.

It would be nice to be able to 3d print these.

It would be nice to be able to 3d print these.

Both the door and floor speaker adapters.

Also small design changes could be made easily .

Make sure the opening is 7.25 and also that the thickness is increased to 3/4" if you have a base stereo system

I've been in contact with 808MGuy. He doesn't make the spacers for the front doors now.

Since all of your speakers are 4 ohms, if you only wire one speaker per channel they will all be 4 ohms. So look at the 4 ohm rating on your amps. If money isn't a factor, look at Alpine PDX and JL HD series.

If you were to connect more than one of the same speaker to the same channel then it depends on how you wire it. In parallel, i.e. both positives together both negatives together, the impedance is cut in half since the power travels the same distance through two equally sized paths. So for two 4 ohm speakers in parallel your impedance at the amp is 2 ohms.

If you wire them in series, positive from amp to positive on 1st speaker, negative on the 1st speaker to the positive on the 2nd speaker, and the negative on the second speaker connected to the negative on the amp. The impedance would double, so two 4 ohm speakers would be 8 ohms.

Well the spacers are definitely available I just ordered a set today! Gmail and a little forum member assistance was the route I went to get in contact with jtsherri. Very helpful and responsive once contact was made.

With that said, I heard the install is pretty simple if you do it yourself can anyone here confirm that?

I can also confirm the best way to contact JTSherri is via the email address provided above. I emailed JTSherri this morning and have already received a response -- and the order has been placed and paid for.

I'm looking to order a set of underseat spacers as well. Is he also making the front door speaker spacers?
