Meth kit or pump + E85?

At this point I am FBO + JB4 and contemplating between my next mod, either meth or a new pump/flash to run higher mixes of e85. I daily drive my car at least 70 miles, Post your suggestions !

I went Vishnu Procede, trunk mount meth & flex fuel setup and love it. I run Map 3 as a DD, switching to Map4 when I want to get on it, ready to fill e85 when heading to the track or feel the need for speed. Everything auto-tunes and presents driveability for whatever situation you're looking for.

My guess is the mod bug will bite hard and you'll eventually end up with both like I have LOL.

I'd go lpfp+e85 first. Then decide if you need meth. imo

Trust me you're going to end up doing both. Youll want to run say e60, so you upgrade the LPFP and thats all well and good, in-cylinder temps look great and all is well....except it's hot outside, and your intercooler cant restrain charge temps well enough on its own. So your DME pulls out timing for fear of knock when in reality your fuel has superb knock resistance. Irrelevant, youll see timing being pulled out. So then youll need meth to cool the charge. And depending on what % e85 you want, an inline Walbro type solution may not be enough to hit fueling requests. So again, youll want meth as a fueling bandaid. Its the exact same scenario im facing, so ive already accepted that HFS4 is in the future.

I'd start with E85, it's more of a set it and forget it type "mod". Even if you have to add in a backend flash and/or LPFP upgrade, once that's installed you don't really have to check on it like you do with a meth system. See how trims, AFR, etc look when you start adding in E85; then go for meth once you start to run out of fuel and/or charge temps get out of hand.

What setup do u prefer for the e85 and how much would it run for a shop to install it approx?

To answer your question above about the e85 setup just get the G5 board for your jb4, run map 5 and get a walbro inline pump and thats a great starting point

That's where I'm at right now trying to decide if I should hook the meth kit up for the RB's or not?! Map 7 feels really good with Terry's flash+Cobb running almost 70% e85. Hey Rob do you have the fsb from Terry?

OP, look at Rob's mod list, close your eyes, point at the screen and then go mod your car.

I have a 2.2 gallon trunk mount and pump for sale. it was sometimes hard to find e85 around where I lived so the meth really helped with that.
