I've removed everything from the manifold back, and taken the hood off as well. The sound is amazing.

I am running a catless DP and I'm not too keen on the sound. I imagine a muffler delete would be much much worse. Do yourself a favor and don't do it. If you want muffler less just get the berk sport axle-back.

I did it on my n55 and love it. But I have a 135i with dct... The pops on up shift are to die for
