Cracked alloy again

Had the tyre pressure warning come on at weekend and turns out one of my 18 inch mv3 wheels has a crack in it. BMW uk told me to take the car to my local garage where the wheel would be examined. The wheel passed the run out test and the dealer processed my claim. My claim has been rejected as apparently there is no issues with any 18 inch BMW alloy. Car is 2008 having done 60000 miles and full service history (part Bmw ) any advice on this would be greatly appreciated.

There is not a issue with 18" rims but my mate has 09plate and they paid for his rim and tyre. But being 08 very rarely they crack so being 08 plate poss why said no. Phone customer services get more joy with them.

I've got an 08 plate e93 that I've only just bought.
Had it on a ramp the other day and two of my MV3 18 wheels have cracks in them.
Let me know how you proceed as it looks like I will have to go down the same road.

Cheers for the replies. Everything has gone through customer service. They were the ones that sent me to the local dealer. The dealer then checked the wheel and it was within tolerance infact the wheel is in mint condition. Can't understand why cs would send me to the dealer if they had no intentions of offering a goodwill. A manager at cs if ringing back today so I will see how we get on. It's not as if the car has done spaceship miles with no service history. I know things do wear and tear on cars but 5 years for the life of an alloy is taking the biscuit. I'm sure the 18 mv3 alloys have been affected by the cracking issue although I am aware they are not as common as the 19 mv4

I had cracks through both of my front MV3s.Never hit a significant pothole or trauma of any kind.
I had them welded and sold them as such...

Didn't get anywhere with mine. Having to buy a new one or get mine welded up. Not sure which route to take. Welding obviously the cheapest route but would it be 100% safe
