Phone Docking Cradle?

Now I realize that this is only a $130 option, but for those that have the cradle, does this work well? Since it is directly connected to the Antenna, does it seem like you are getting better reception?

And how about the adapters for different phones. Where do you buy those from?

Is this an option to say yes for? Or pass?

Thanks!

Havent seen it in the E90 yet, but in other BMWs it works great for signal and keeping your battery charged.

Only problem is limited phone types supported with cradles
The manufacturers just arnt supplying them for bmw and many new phones dont have any way to connect to a external antenna

Your dealers parts department can supply you with the available cradles

I second what E90Fleet says. I went from no/marginal signal w/o cradle to adequate / strong signal w/ cradle (about 2 bars worth) in my normal travel area. And I had a v551 that only lasted about 24-26 hours on a charge so needed a nice neat solution - cradle does that. I now have v557 so the battery issue is gone (lasts 6-7 days now) but signal boost in and of itself is sufficient reason for me for cradle. Not everybodies style may warrant cradle but mine does as phone is in car nearly 95% of time.

it's 130 for the adapter, then add the cost of the base
2 parts required

my phone works great without it!! and I saved 500 bucks

Cost?

So it cost $130 for the Cradle and how much for the phone adapters? Is there a list with available phones that work with this cradle.

Thanks!

I was quoted over $800 for the base, cradle, phone adapter, and installation. Everything that was needed.
I guess it will stay in my pocket.

Edited for spelling "lack of sleep"
