i jus dnt see the point of choosing a 328 over a 335 unless it was financial but thats just me maybe they likenthe styling better but i dnt c y but its beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

it's not a literal reference to tits. just an expression among young people. no need to get worked up.

I got a bmw loaner from my dealership when I took mine in for service. I was amazed at how much power the 328 had and found it almost as powerful as my 335. Almost.....
Like my 335 better though. The 2013 328 felt like a crown victoria as I could see the entire hood in front of me.

Here's one... Choosing a more reliable car that provides years of uninterrupted service and one your not scared to take on a extended trip for fear of a breakdown.

I think there are people who have leased from when leasing began, until today, but not many. That's not a sustainable lifestyle. there have to be tons of folks who once had a BMW, then went to driving something lesser, but how many of those folks step forward? it's like falling off your game, do you broadcast that?

For someone who purchases their car and pays it off in 36 mos., the only budgetary reasons could be repair. But even with a BMW, it's foolish to get rid of a car because of "scary" repairs. 10k on a 750 is not uncommon, but do you replace the car instead? That's even dumber.

I think that's out of the scope of the intent of the question (I would agree with you as well and my first thoughts were the exact same car ). I think he means more like, if you had to sell your car and get another mode of transportation so you can decide between buying gas/food/housing/paying billz.

I would buy an old Honda and just drive ish outta it to save money if I had to. I would miss having A/C tho.
I think if I had to down grade A/C would be one of the few requirements. Driving to/from an office in 100 degree summers is not fun.

Gimme A/C and the ability to pass at interstate speeds and I'm golden if budget requires.

The resources that we're pooled so I could purchase my 330xi, especially at a young age (16), could have easily been used elsewhere for something lesser and I would have been just fine with that. I still have my 1996 Volvo 850 and I drive it every now and again. If I needed to sell the BMW for anything, I would do it in an instant and drive that 850. In the end, a car is a car weather its a Bentley Mulsanne or Kia Rio. In the end, both will do the exact same job for you. Your E90 isn't better than anyone else's car on the road today as something to get you from point A to B. However, as an item when comparing cars you could obviously say that the e90 is better in some aspects than something else. (I think the steering on my e90 is much nicer than that of my sisters 2011 Honda Accord, on the contrary, the heat in my 1996 Volvo 850 works better than that of my BMW).

I stepped away from my 2003 m3 after 7 months of ownership. And got a scion tc. Take it mine was because I tore my acl, mcl, and partially tore my pcl. Knew I wouldn't be able to drive manual for some time. I was 21 so the car was fine, and did what it needed to. Point a to point b.

Very professional! LOL.

I would not mind stepping away from my BMW and go into a lesser car if I had to. (TL, accord, civic (only with iPod integration)). Sometimes the most important things are the ones we drive to and from. So it's not how you get there

I think the reference is of English or British or Australian or some European descent.

I believe its literal meaning is something to the effect of "you're acting out like a premenstrual little bitch, please calm down and lower your estrogen levels and act like a man again- cheers!"

I just asked one of my colleagues who is from Manchester and that is what he said

I have an '08 Honda Civic coupe - EX-L trim. Love it. Reliable, fun to drive, and it's been paid off since '08 when I bought it new.

I also have a '10 E92 that I bought CPO this year.

But that Civic just keeps going and going. So no, there's absolutely no problem driving a Honda.

Little lesson learned from a 53 year old. If you worry about what OTHER people think about stuff like this, you'll never be happy. Pride and happiness comes from within. BMW's are just (really nice) toys, not a status symbol.

You want to be admired by friends and family? Volunteer your time helping the less fortunate.

PS - Chevy is making a pretty decent product. I rented a Cruze and was very impressed with its technology and euro-type driving characteristics. Ford Focus was even nicer.

Well said!

And not everyone wants to show their money. There are some people who have $100k in their checking account and drive "Malibus" LOL.
Best way to put it ....money isn't everything It doesn't make you better then anyone at the end of the day it doesn't matter how much money you have or had

If you think that's bad, try reading one of their essays. My neighbor is a teacher, and last week he showed me some writing samples from his high school seniors. We were laughing our asses off. Incorrect tense, wrong use of comma vs. period, bad to downright comical spelling errors (I mean spelling errors that a 3rd grader shouldn't be making), and scattered thoughts and sentence structure, etc. You name it, we saw it. And I only read three papers, all on War and Peace.

They don't get it.
