Still tempted to go drive the MB.

No time posted yet for the picnic, but I hear start time will be around 11am.

"Regarding the Family Picnic at Carderock on Sunday, September 23rd: we have reserved the Pavilion from 10 AM to sunset, and our targeted food availability is from 1 to 4 PM. We will have, among other items, seven kinds of wursts from the German Gourmet! See you then."

Directions To Carderock Park, MD:
From the Beltway (I-495), take Exit 41 West (by the American Legion Bridge). Drive 1 mile West on Clara Barton Parkway. Exit and proceed up to the bridge and go left over the parkway. Go straight ahead past the turn to the Parkway East, and make a left at the Park Entrance. Do not park illegally. More parking is available to the right at the entrance.

exit 41 wow!
thats close to Great Fall Md side exit alot of roadies there....

A nice picnic to spend time with the family and the bimmer community.
Food was great and some nice german beverages.
