335i e90 brake caliper paint?

I have a Barberra red e90 with 19" black wheels. Iwant to paint the calipers this weekend but wanted opinions on colors, and was thinking of matching the paint, I didn't want to go black bc I think it would be too much, lmk what you think

I think red would look good with a red car. It'll make them pop a bit without being gaudy like yellow would be on a red car (ketchup and mustard is what I would think of if I saw that).

Black would be pretty understated.

You could do a dark gray...If you went red, you would definitely want to match the paint. I think you can buy matching paint colors in high heat paint, but not sure.

G2 caliber paint will match the OEM paint code for $40 extra on top of the basic kit. I would match the red if you are going to go red.

Nice! I have to admit I never would have thought of painting them on the car. A bit more prep but no brake bleeding.

how much clean up did you do before painting? how many coats? i was thinking of painting mine silver, as the new is's have silver breaks... i have a black car and wanted to keep the color scheme black n white but for the rondels.

Better really scrub the caliper well with sandpaper and a wire brush. It would be my suggestion to have them sand blasted and the use a high temp primer before applying the final two coats.

I would take the caliper off the car entirely.

BMW blue Would be my suggestion for a dark color car.

Looks great! I painted mine on the car too, but just disconnected them from the rotors and let them hang.
