Window tint

Anybody used this kit:

Or wise to pay a professional?

I would never do tint on my own - not worth the effort to save minimal $$ and end up not doing it properly.

Don't do it yourself or use shit tint material - you'll regret it.
Expect to pay $260-300 for professional work.

I tried to do it on my old g35. The tint is not as forgiving as vinyl and is difficult to work with. I would just go the professional route.

Pay the $250-300 and get it professionally done. Not worth messing with it if you don't know how do it right.

I would for definitely stay away from the pre cut tint.
$250-$300 for professional tint damn that's a lot.. I own a shop in north Hollywood. If you charge more than $175 the majority of people think your rippin them off. Haha

In MI, i couldn't find find a lower price than $250 with lifetime warranty on the film for a E90.

Damn i dont know if its and east coast vs west coast thing but here in cali i paid 100 for 5 windows on my sedan, havent had any problems and its been months, it was a service that went to your house and it came with a 3 year warranty

That's crazy in the Chicagoland area the best price I could find was 230

My lowest quote for quality ceramics was 325. My subaru with the same tints cost 210 and it has many more windows. I just blame it on bimmer tax here in the Midwest.

Auto-links in Scarborough will charge you anywhere from $260-$300. Tell them you're from the BMW group or just mention that Nelio sent you.
