I don't disagree with you when viewing the pictures only... You gotta remember, though, the ones on my car right now are the first set I made. I have the templates and can make them stick out less as the only real thing to change is how / where they're mounted, but seeing them in person I don't think they stick out too much. If I were to do it over I'd angle the edges more so that they gave the appearance of sticking out less near the front and rear edges.

i give you kudos for making them yourself. i think yours turned out great! understandable that all you have to do is move them in to adjust how far out they stick. could easily create a longer channel and make them more adjustable. rounding the edges would definitely help from a picture perspective. car looks great! i'd like to do the hamann front lip and skirt add ons but my car is definitely not aggressive or low enough.
