Headlight upgrades

With the holidays coming up my recently wife informed me that she is going to get my headlights replaced from the nasty yellowish tint to a bright white.

I have seen a couple of options out there that people have mentioned such as LUX and OSS Designs but wondering if anyone has any preference. I'm looking to stay in the $200-$300 range if possible.

Cheers,
Jason

LUX is you only option in that range which is just an led bulb which replaces your angel eye bulbs(there are cheaper options as well that have that same effect)
Oss needs you to send them your headlights and they usally install led rings/ housings and what knot. This option is in 800 buck range

Lux is generally considered the best plug and play option. They sell their bulbs for around $220 I believe. I've had mine for more than a year without issue. Def an upgrade over the yellow halogen. OSS is more expensive but the results are obviously more impressive. I don't have the luxury of shipping my headlights in and waiting as I need the car for commuting purposes. Even if I did, the Lux is enough for my taste.

Install is quite easy, you just need patience, and preferably someone with small hands to help you out. It's very much a "feel" based install.

What does a $220 lux bulb offer over the ~$40 bulbs on eBay that claim to do essentially the same thing?

It gives you the ease of mind that it won't go out in 2 days, or a week, a month. etc. It's a quality product and the creator is an awesome guy. Going Lux over eBay is no question. Also, a lot of eBay bulbs claim Hi output Leds but 99% of them are just crappy Chinese knock-offs.

Personally I put in Umnitza V4s in mine. Much better than what OSS does, cause they cut your headlight open.
