My understanding is that the AA tune already adjust the throttle response and fuel mixture... If you kept the power box, you will now increase a pre setting by a current percentage again through a piggy back system. Reminds me of when I bought a chip for a previous car where I had a shift kit in the transmission, which I forgot to mention, and now per the chip we tightened up the shift points even further and blew the tranny. Second of all, I had the powerbox, and it is nothing in comparison to the full AA tune. Sell it, pick up some cold ones, and get the full AA stage 2 with 3 stage intake and you will never look back. If my wife notices the changes, which she did day one, then something drastically must have changed!!!!!

Thanks for the info. I have already 3IM and AA stage 2. I heard when u can use both together on map 4,5,6 100% throttle remapping, performance tuning off
there is no any problems.

Fine, I got it. But why then wouldn't you just call Andrew/Zack and tell them to update what you are missing and re-send an updated code/and be done? Maybe I am missing something? Why run a piggy back system if you can get the primary one to do what you want?

I finally picked up a 3-stage manifold, complete with DISAs, today. I can't wait to unleash the full potential of the tune! However, the weather is starting to turn to crap, so I probably won't be able to get to it before next spring (I HAAAAATE winter!!! )

I have a question for those who have done the swap on a 328i. The manifold I got has the round external oil separator. I understand that's not needed on the 328i, so can I just remove it? What do I do with the ports that separator hoses use?

Thanks.

Cheers!

you can easily remove it. Just remove what you don't need or use

Winter is a blast with traction off, snow tires, awd, and the AA tune.

+1 I might have no fun when it's dry out in the winter but once the snow comes my car becomes a snowplow when I need it and drift king when I want it.

Been a month now.... car feels awesome... It's real nice out today, came home for lunch had a few open on and off ramps After all these years I love this damn car! When I'm bored and online all I can think of is how much lci e90 M3s have come down.... but when I'm driving it I don't even think about buying another car (no payment helps )

I'm definitely going to add catless manifolds over the winter and retain the secondary cats... seems like the best all around compromise and get the offroad tune. The added torque should make and even bigger difference in the uphill sections of Watkins glen combined with the shorter rear end ratio

If i get this aa tune will any engine light in the car go off? Also, what is the off road option you guys give? The difference between regular aa tune and offroad?

No engine lights will go off unless you have an issue just like it would from the factory.

Off road option is for customers with headers.

I was told by Yomny that if install headers I won't need to get a new tune. Could you please clarify regarding the tunes and additional bolt ons? Thanks!

If you install headers prior to having a offroad tune you will most certainly need a new tune.

The price is $100 extra for our offroad tune which disables the engine light per euro standards and includes tuning for the headers as well.
