…turns out I was lying to myself.

I've been trying to get my hands on a set of these for pretty much as long as I've had the car but the right set for the right price never came up. The wheels were refurbished by a company in Dublin, but the owner decided he wanted larger Alpina wheels and traded these in. His loss, my gain.

I wasn't sure if they would suit the car as they're a completely different wheel to the 3SDM (which I loved). But the 3SDMs were more of a track / performance styled wheel and this car isn't a track or performance sort of car.

With them fitted…

…I can honestly say I'm delighted. It's exactly what I was looking for. They're probably not to everyones tastes, but everything I do with the car, I do it for myself. It would be a boring world if we all liked the same thing!

Absolutely beautiful, but I might be a little biased. Your car could be my European twin lol

I got it from M Style in the UK, but I regret not sourcing a Vorsteiner one instead. Weave is a little off in places.

It's next on the list, but we can only legally tint from the B Pillar back here, so I'm undecided whether to have half tints or just the factory tint.

It was actually all your helpful posts which allowed me to make the decision and know what tyre sizes I could run. Thank you!

If you can put up with the weather for more than 20 minutes, you can have them!
