Which bmw dealership do you guys take your cars to in the Charlotte area?

Just wondering where everyone goes and how their experiences were with different dealerships

If I were in Charlotte I would call Tom at Euroenvy. Great dude, long time BMW tech at Leith and Hendrick before going out on his own.

I've been to Hendrick BMW(NORTHLAKE) for service a few times.

I have to say, very surprised for a dealership. They were great to work with. No trouble getting a loaner, told me what service would be coming up soon, didn't push me for all kinds of service I didn't need. One time they recommended the cabin air filter change, I said. "haha for that price, I think I'll just do it on my own." They were surprisingly cool about it, and definitely understandable.

I guess if you show them you aren't some guy who just has a BMW because of the roundel, I think they are more level with you. I mean most of them are enthusiasts themselves in the service department.

But you still have dealership prices, no avoiding that.

I'm sure that's more than you wanted to know, but hopefully this helps.

+1 for Hendrick NORTHLAKE Great group of guys and very down to earth. (I have one specific advisor I work with, but everyone has been great)

Had 3 service visits at the Independence location, early on in my ownership, and each time I experienced poor service. To the extent that I wrote Hendrick about it.... to no avail...

With my previous e46 it took 4+ hour oil changes with appointments at Independence and always waited. Northlake is much faster with service, but the couple service guys I had so far were not very good. I had a major issue I told them diagnosis it at any cost. They called they called the next day said it might cost $1000 just to diagnosis and a few days of work I said okay do it, how about loaner they beat around the bush and said they had other customers with appointments that already reserved them that's BS they have tons of loaners dealer is 5 min from my house. They ended up finding shavings in my oil filter determined it was rod knock there solution was a new engine at $18,500 + $3500 install and they recomeneded a new clutch and flywheel with my mileage at another $1500 or so. I would have hoped they could have given me a little more use full advice then the above... like sorry man this sucks you best bet is to find a used engine and have a good Indy shop install, which is what I did. When your service "advisor" suggests a $23,500 + fix with no alternative that offended me.

I will say the parts guys at Northlake are awesome.
