ECS Tuning wheel spacers, stay away...

Just put 15mm wheel spacers on the rear of my e92 and have noticible vibes at 80mph+. Everything was cleaned up nicely with a wire brush prior to install. I ran them for 3 days and finally got a chance to pull them off last night.

The spacer fit very snug onto the car's hub the problem is the interface with the rim. The spacers's hub centric ring is undersized to the rim, with the spacer placed in the rim you can move it back and forth by about ~.020". This is enough to offcenter the rim and cause vibration.

Anyone want to buy some 15mm spacers with 37 miles on them? just keep it under 80mph...

Don't think you can get hub rings for spacers that are supposed to be hubcentric. .02" is tiny. But OP, are you sure that's your problem? The lug bolts will basically center your wheel, it's why they're tapered. So even if the spacer weren't hubcentric, the wheel should center.

I believe if that were true then hub centric rings wouldn't be required at all...

Well, hubcentric ring's entire purpose is to center the wheel during install and make it easier. So having it slightly undersized could cause issues. But if you torque your wheels properly during install, it shouldn't be an issue since the lug bolts are tapered. They can only put the wheel in one position if installed correctly.
