Call Ken at Musicar. They are a forum sponser. I just had him fabricate a corner sub enclosure for my JL W3 sub. I didn't lose much trunk space, it looks great and sounds amazing.

Any updates? How does it sound? Contemplating this with my 10w3, very curious how your 12w3 application worked out.

Thanks!

Oh, it worked very very well! Quite impressed with the outcome! hits hard but accurate, so you don't just get whub whub whub. Instead you hear actual notes playing it's worth it for sure!

The only problem I see with that setup is that the trunk acts as a box and it isn't truly infinite baffle. I am sure it still works very well though.

Here is a picture of my setup. It's not infinite baffle, but true infinite baffle isn't possible in a car anyways.

BMW 325i Hi. Interested to know how these sound? Also, would it matter that I have solid rear seats? They fold down, but no ski pass.

They can play as loud or as quiet as I need them to. I just adjust the sub level on my headunit. You don't need a ski pass, but it's useful when I have the seats up because the ports are right behind it. Even with the seats up and ski pass closed I don't hear any rattles and some bass still makes it into the cabin. You could even do the same thing with a sealed box. The box is 14x36x14 which is a tight fit on its own. The front baffle is held in by 16 neodymium magnets.

These are the exact ones I used.

I'll probably add a few extra magnets next time I have the box out. I was worried that I would use too many and make it too hard to pull apart.
