335is 18 vs 19

What's the difference other than size with the 335is that come with 19s or the ones that come with 18s? Any package differences or just wheels option?
Thank you

If I'm not mistaken, the 19s are forged so they weigh the same as the 18s but other than that it is just a wheel option. Also the 19s have "bmw performance" written on the lip whereas the 18s do not.

None - was standalone upgrade, ~$1k.
19s rears are 9" wide vs 8.5" wide for the 18's.

The 19s are a pretty harsh ride, but they look awesome.

19s ride harsh only with RFTs.. 19s without RFTS ride better than 18s with RFTs..

BTW, 19 313 style wheels are not forged. They are made exact same way that 18s are, the only difference is M sticker and, if purchased as an accessory, BMW performance sticker on the rim. 19s weigh 27-28 lbs.

Trying to decide whether to get insurance for is 313 wheels. Any thoughts on how susceptible they are to denting or cracking? Getting advice that it's worth it, but not sure at $1.5K. Thanks.

Get the wheel insurance. I feel really stupid for not getting it on my BMW Performance 269 wheels. My wheels have cracked several times due to potholes, and harsh roads. Its great to have, because each wheel will cost you anywhere from 100-200 bucks to repair, or 500 new. Also it should cover damage to your tires too, reconfirm with dealer.
