Advan has a walnut blaster

Hi all
Well we have gone and purchased a new OEM BMW walnut blaster intake cleaning system. Makes your valves like new
the price for the cleaning service will be $495,00 inc gst
if you are interested just give the shop a ring, Advan will be closed from the 24th of December and reopen on the 8th of January.
Have a great and safe Christmas.

Speed safely

We can do any engine, BUT your engine has port injection it is not a DI engine, therefore the carbon build up around the valve and port is no where as bad.
I would say its not worth doing.

That is great news for the community. Can you tell me the turnaround time for such a job please? Needing to know if it can be an easy day trip for me from Canberra!

I understand no car is the same but is there a general rule as to how many kms a 335i needs to have on it to make the job worthwhile? [Mine is late '06 with 53K kms.]

Well its a bit hard as driving conditions differ from driver to driver,
But in general for a town car around 50,000km and a freeway car 70,000km

I have read a lot of walnut blasting threads on this forum, and from what most guys state anything over 40-50000 km you will notice a smoother idle and power delivery.

I have also seen a lot of guys stating their 2-3 year old 335i's felt much better after a walnut blast, so if you have a 06-09 with ~ or >50k kays it would definitely be well worth it.

100% agree we have done a fair bit of back to back dyno work before and after the clean. I have seen a 28kw gain atw, This is a fact, you will notice a difference through out the entire rev range

So Pete, does that mean my 309.9 will turn into a 337.9kW atrw

Alex you will need more than that to get into the 7s around Wakefield.
Instead of me spraying nuts at your valves I can give you a bag full to eat before you post a quick lap next time at Wakey.
There is a bag for PAVO as well.
