Question Anyone here in the UK have experience of PS2 runflats?

At the risk of starting another runflat hate thread, I'm getting a bit low on the rear tyres after almost 15,000 miles. Although I am tempted to ditch the runflats, I am considering trying Michelin PS2 runflats rather than Bridgestone RE050s that came from the factory, which are very noisy on rough roads.

I've seen a couple of posts in the tyre forum (from US members) who seem to like the PS2 runflats, but wondered if anyone here in the UK has them?

I've had my PS2's since I got the car new. About 20k on them and still plenty of tread. The ride is superb in my opinion and they are the best tyre I have ever had. The grip is superb in dry and wet. Highly recommend them

Agreed. PS2 is the way to go. I'm perfectly happy with mine.

Is it possible to get PS2 run flats for the 225m's?

I am also considering this option, but I can't spot the PS'2 with the 225'm dimensions on any of the tyre websites

To be honest I;d be interested in ANYTHING stickier than my tyres in the wet I'm like a one legged frog...

Sliding all over the place.

Could really do with that LSD and some stickys

I am very impressed with the Michelin PS2 ZP run flats and recently replaced the two front ones.

However godd luck finding them for the rears (though I notice you have an SE).

I have been trying to replace my two rear tyres for Michelin PS2 ZP 255/35/ZR18 Y90 and absolutely nowhere has any in stock and apparently there is a shortage.

If you manage to find any please let me know!

Mark.

Superb tyre and would definitely replace like for like when the need arises.

Took Kwik Fit (Falmouth) a couple of days to find one when we had a puncture, thank god for tyre insurance.

Regards

Chris
