Eh…going port injection on a DI car…Is like going carburetor from port injection…

What we need is a company that will come up with a high flow HPFP same what APR did to Audi and VW running TFSI engine, cost is a bit much thou $1000, but this is a tiny pump supporting around 380-400awhp, I’m guessing ours will cost around 2K…

Not exactly, the DI system is still in operation and fully functioning. The PI steps in provides additional fueling when necessary. Which will generally be in the rev range where DI tends to lose most of it's benefits anyway.

This is a good point. I'm guessing the injectors won't be active until the mid-upper RPM range of a WOT pull which means that they won't be active a majority of the time you're driving.

This option might also be cheaper than a HPFP replacement, it's hard to say, although you would need additional injectors with this method. I'm sure one day the hpfp replacement will show up.

If anything people might just take them from the M3/m4 if they didn't change the outside design and increased the piston inside. If bmw did this I'm sure most would prefer that upgrade if it was substantial. If its the same old hpfp then your still back to the drawing board lol.
Our injectors flow some 2000cc so I don't think injectors will ever be needed.

Could be but since it is DI only a small time window to inject fuel. Vargas is about to introduce an add-on belt-driven HPFP, we'll soon see how it does with stock injectors.

Meanwhile this PTF approach is intriguing, will also solve the carbon problem plus has other good aspects.

Lot of cool stuff coming out soon, new single kits and big fuel solutions.

Sorry for my lack of knowledge but will the supplementary supply run off of a separate tank or tap into the fuel system? Also would it be ran off a separate pump or the hpfp? Would really like to fully comprehend the full issue at hand and the proposed solution.

The most important thing to find out is WHAT will be used to control those injectors...
