I used the 5.5 pads all over the car and had no issues, scratches or anything.

I love the nanoskin pad. Just be sure to use plenty of lubrication to prevent marring. It's much faster and easier than claying though!

Cool. Thanks man. I haven't found anyone that hasn't liked it so I'm excited.

This makes me feel better reading this. Awesome results. I was thinking of getting the nano sponge but i keep reading how JB paint is super soft. Anything I should know before going in?

Just be cautious. Make sure to avoid swirling motions except for products requiring it for application. Other than that, just be smart and you'll be fine!

Also, I read to use a LOT of lube and only up/down, or left, right motions. I figure that helps too!

Whoops yeah thought that was common claying knowledge about the motions but yes. A lot of lube is definitely important!

Yup, I've begun coming back to my home in Chapel Hill, NC to detail on the weekends. Did a full correction on an Audi V10 A6 last weekend and have another couple to do this coming weekend. I'm excited to finally be branching out and doing other cars.

Good! It's so satisfying to do your own detailing work and seeing the transformation. Good luck
