F30 LSD ----> E9x ?

Just curious if anybody has thought of using the F30 LSD in an E9x. RealOEM reveals different part numbers and ratios for the 2 chassis, but pictures of each sure look similar.

That's cause both of then are in fact diffs..

Jk I had to
In all seriousness the aftermarket options are getting more plentiful and slightly cheaper. It probably wouldn't be worth it esp considering the BMW diff's wear out in ~60k and a helical aftermarket one will go on forever.
