Exclamation Need Help With E92 335

Hey i have a E92 335xi with JB4 stage 3 and few other goodies.....before i buy new exhaust i want to do a muffler delete. can anybody help me on how to do that? Is there a link on how to do a muffler delete on a 335....i can't find it anywhere.

please help!

Take it to a muffler shop and have them cut the muffler off and install a straight pipe in it's place.

If you just want to hear how it sounds before you get the new exhaust put on, I suppose you could just cut it off your self, but then you would risk having exhaust going into the car since there would be no pipe bringing it out the rear bumper.

wait so if i do the delete there will be no pipe out the rear bumper?!?

You would need to have a pipe put in to make up for the space that is going to be where the muffler is.

There is also some muffler mod that I have read some people do, that doesn't actually completely remove the muffler. I don't know too much about that though.

YEa take it to a muffler shop bc they have to weld on tip, or if you want a cheap job just cut it off in the drive way.

You can do it with a jigsaw

lol seems like too much of a headache, both your guys solutions...i just leave the can flap opened from the setting on the JB4 for now, i'm just going to buy a whole new exhaust system, might as well since i already have a good amount of mods on it already
