Because the inside is already taken and he wants to pass?

instead of following, you can maintain a higher speed and cut off the outside line if you take the outside. Although you have to travel a longer distance, you can build up more speed on the outside than the inside. So the exit speed is probably better for him there and that helps him overtake if the power of the car allows him to

Sabine is a driving goddess. She drives the M5 Ring Taxi and has done something like 30,000 laps.

Here...watch this lap and hold on:

I had no idea... looks like she can drive. Wouldn't you think that you would want to wear a helmet if you're going to be driving around a race track with other cars? Seems kind of strange.

I'm so happy that the R8 is really providing Porsche's 911 a challenge. I'm kind of tired of seeing the P-car remain the undeniable king. For god's sake, at least change the styling of the car somewhat (don't get started with the whole classic schtick thx). I love the R8, and would definitely take one over an equivalent Porsche.

Oh yeah lol I thought that was what's-her-face from Fifth Gear...like Jody or something. Then I heard her speak and it's like what BoostedBMW said with the female Borat voice thing haha.

Watching her at the Ring overtake 911s in an S-Type diesel or overtake sport bikes in a Ford Transit delivery van are extremely entertaining as well.

Maybe. But she is employed by the track so I guess it is OK. You pay 180 Euros to go around once with her. The tires on the car are replaced every 10 laps, brakes 20 laps and suspension every 50. BMW takes a loss on each lap but I suppose the advertising is great. There are two taxis. Sabine is said to be the faster driver.
