Matt, you would have to buy the airbag and control buttons, it would be $$, check out the chart:

Wow... Nice steering wheel but not worth $700+. Thanks for the info ) I think I'll save my money for another mod.

Yea, it gets pretty expensive. That's why I was soo stoked to find the ebay auction that sells these for $185($180 when I purchased)! MSRP is over $500! I'm just lucky the m wheel uses the same airbag, otherwise I probally wouldn't have done this.

Good pix, thx. I have ordered my 330d with the M wheel for the cushy feel, but I must admit that I would have preferred it without the perforated leather on each side.

Are you sure the thickness changed on the stock wheel? I thought only the thumbrests were added. I have the sport package and my steering wheel is not as thick as the M steering wheel on my sister's '05 330Ci ZHP. (I do have a post-September build with the thumbrests.)

Anyway, I've ordered the M wheel already so I can do a comparison when I get it. Even at the same thickness, the M wheel is more comfortable to grip and I'm looking forward to putting it on my car. :rocks:

I can confirm that the M wheel is indeed thicker than the post-September sport wheel. I have a September production 330i SP. The steering wheel is the newer style with thumbrests. I received my M-Sport steering wheel today and it looks just like the pictures Danny posted when held up to my stock wheel.
