Are all MF towels equal?

If it says micro fiber are you ok or is there some sort of pecking order in the micro fiber world.

How do you know good quality MF?

Thanks

No, they're not all equal.

I'd stick with ones from a reputable shop like Detailed Image, PakShack, Griots, etc.
I'd be worried that the ones from Walmart and stuff have nylon threading around the hem, which'll scratch your paint.

theres is a difference, but I mean you can find pretty decent ones at autozone or pepboys i personally use the California MF towels for simple things like QD's but for buffing off wax I'd go with high quality mf towels from sites listed above.

All MF's are not equal. I like Pakshak, and I'm sure excel Detail or Griot's are good too. As for off the shelf, I've heard decent reviews from the Vroom MF's at Target.

The MF towels from Costco work great!! Did my crimson red 328i this weekend with no problems. They do fuzz a bit, but the particles are big and easy to pull off. Before I tried them on the car, I polished a CD with no scratches, so they're safe.

The best part is the package is so big, you'll never run out.

Best place for MF towels is chemical guys. Most MF towels come from the same place. (im talking about the boutique towels, NOT the walmart/costco/target ones.)

I just checked out the Chemical Guy "Chubby" towel. I see that it is weighing in at 2.54 oz per towel. I realize that weight isn't the only factor, but we just ordered a new towel that weighs 5.4 oz per towel.

If you've tried our Ultra Plush towels, this one we ordered is almost the equivalent of 3 of these together. It is a monster!

We should have these towels within a week or two.

George
