one thing you can't argue with is the sucess and popularity of nascar, they do a damn good job of promoting the personalities of the people in the cars.

One thing that is good about nascar is that there is a bit of body contact and bumping on the course, where as open wheel cars can't really bump each other (not good clean racing, but exciting)

I'm not a big fan, but if you're bored on a sunday, the drone of those motors makes for a bitchin naptime soundtrack.
