I highly recommend a custom dyno tune by AA

Mini Review:

So as many of you know, Im FBO and running AA's stage 3 tune. Well, I wanted to get the most out of my engine, so I contacted Andrew and sent him my dyno. Needless to say, Pedro reworked my tune and now I believe he found more usable TQ and HP down low, both in half throttle and full and some more HP and TQ in the mid range, however, that will only be determined with a dyno. Right now Im at like 234? HP and I think 204 Tq, being an automatic and x drive, thats pretty friggen good.

Ill have a dyno in the next couple weeks, to see the (hopeful) gains.. think im done modding my car now, maybe some wheels (or if AA ever comes out with an intake

) but...damn, Im extremely happy with where my car is at, only with the help of AA.

If anyone is wondering what tune they should get, just please listen to everyone else and go AA...customer service A+ parts A+

Ill get a new video soon, I've been hella lazy but I promise there will be a dyno and a 0-60 run soon!

Yeah, its definitely been a journey, the only thing that Im not happy about is the crazy idle but thats normal so I'll just have to wait it out.

I do have headers, but I had a lot of drivetrain loss too

Didn't even know this kind of thing was available.

I finally have the full AA tune in my car (after replacing the VANOS units) and am very happy with the results. FINALLY seeing/feeling the benefit of these mods. But...it's encouraging to know that there may be even more power available.

I've been meaning to ask about the different Stage tunes you guys are talking about. I've never seen anything labeled as such on the AA site. Is it simply Stage Two for the N52 without the 3.0 manifold and Stage 3 for one with the 3-stage manifold??

Stage one is without 3 stage
Stage 2 is with 3 stage
Stage 3 is headers

My custom tune is 3 stage and headers

Stage 1 was their original tune before VVT and valvetronic codes being cracked, they updated it to 'stage 2' and we (the forum) created the name 'stage 3' for the headers.
