Photo's of my 320d - rooftop

So I had some time and wanted to take some pictures of my car. I couldn't think of where in the world to go - but I found a rooftop parking garage...and went for a little photo shoot. :-)

I really need a better camera, my sony cybershot P43 doesn't offer much...I took over 100 photo's but here are 6...

It seems the quality dropped significantly when I resized them (using Microsoft Photo Editor) :-/

Nice job Broken1!

Here is my favorite, with some editing for composition and removal of some visual distractions. You could go further and remove the trees and fence... but they don't really distract too much.

Hay! You took the front plate of my car!!! :-) (I would drive it like that, but law says otherwise...and I get harrassed enough by the f-ing Police)

That's actually really nice... I must get my self some lessons in real photo editing and such.

All I can do, it resize, blur, sharped and maybe adjust colours and contrast a bit -> using my trusty (not so much) MS Photo editor.

I must find more photo-spots. The problem is I need somewhere dead quiet...I hate people watching me with my car.

On Jan Smuts Ave - opposite the Mac Donalds (Near Hyde Park Auto). It's the roof section of the Planet Fitness (and Pick n Pay) parking. Since there is so much parking, and almost no people...the roof is always empty...

Just thought it was a nice place to snap a couple of shots...not perfect though...but at least I was alone - and no guards or anyone to bother me...

Those wheels look tough, tough enough to be on the X series and yet look very well on your E90.

Nice, but I know what black looks like: I was hoping to see some shots of your lemon interior. I've still got 5 weeks' wait left before mine is delivered and I need my lemon fix

Yep. When you resize to less than 100 x 100 pixels, the quality decreases if your picture quality (sometimes a function of file size and/or camera optics) is low to begin with.

Well, I haven't really had the "Interior Photo Shoot feeling" just yet...I'm trying to get better at exterior shots first...but here are 4 shots of lemon...just for you :-)

Thanks, I feel better for that. I love those pix with the doors & sunroof open. Lemon contrasts perfectly with black. What's with the cloudy sky, BTW? I thought it was always sunny in SA, especially as it's your summertime

The cloudy sky is the afternoon rain creeping in...

It rains in the summer here in JHB...and in the late feb/march season...usually everyday. My clean car is no longer clean - but at least I got a photo shoot out of it.

I am trying to borrow a better camera from a family member(s) for my next photo shoot...they all so stingy though.

I really liked the effect of the cloudy sky...in some photo's it looks almost painted on...
