Fiance bought me a 2007 335i Sedan from Performance BMW for Christmas. I would not mind going to the Rock, if I have time. When do they reopen?
No mods yet, but she has already approved the JBS2. That will likely be the only mod as the 1995 Miata is supposed to be my "toy."

Anyone know the safety rules? If I remember correctly from my days of drag racing, they require a helmet for 13.99 or faster cars and a roll bar for convertables. Anyone know if that still applies. Hate to get down there and make one run and be told to leave or find a helmet.

anyhow, if u guys know a good local tinting place please let me know. I'm thinking of Sun Protection in Durham. Also, have you guys tried the touchless carwash on 15/501?

As far as touchless carwashes.....I only let my own hands wash my baby

We really havent even "met" as of yet. Still waiting to get some people together.

He has done some high end work and comes HIGHLY recomended. I know he has done group discounts before, may be an option if more than one person needs window tint.

Thanks guys! I never heard of Suntek tints... I was thinking of getting Formula One since it's the one everyone praises everywhere...

I'm finally getting a free hand wash at the dealership. They had done a crappy job so I complained and they called back to apologize. I wasn't gonna take it, but the lady was very nice and assured me she will make sure they clean it real well this time.

and mine is "just" a 328i and it's silver so as long as it's clean I'm happy.

Performance (Chapel Hill). They have a hand carwash for only 14.95 for customers, so I took it and they made me wait 1.5 hours and there was still dirt everywhere...
