Shiv would it be possible to do a run with the stock Exhaust....
i.e. intake, Dps and stock exhaust. Since we haven't found one that doesn't drone yet I'm keen to understand the options with just Dps and Intake. Thanks SJ |

I think kaji335i is on to something here and i agree with Shiv we have to protect the inviroment. If we look at the supersprint set up with metalic cats some way back and unrestricted dp we get the best of both worlds. As i see it with ur. dp you get rid of some unwantet backpressure caused by the cats in the dp plus a faster spool up time and less heat in the engine
room. From what I´ve read about the s.s. system there is 24hp gain with the full system (ur dp) and only a 10 hp gain with with catback (stock DP) Last edited by Aridk; 01-10-2008 at 06:35 AM. |

I can't wait for the Vishnu intake. What numbers will I see with V2, Eisenmann Race full catback exhaust, and an intake on 92 octane? Maybe -10whp offset from this config? Last edited by edgarj; 01-10-2008 at 06:59 AM. |

I'm completely with all of you, the engine needs more air for the additional power. However, I would like to see a comparison between drop-in filters and the Vishnu intake. I just bought the ITG from Vishnu and I am not sure whether I should better have bought the BMC filter ... or the K&N would be good enough. Some more detailed informations would be great.

He means that because he's a JB user/supporter that hasn't liked or believed in the PROcede and what it's capable of. Warren, nice to see you come out and give the PROcede and Shiv props on his tune. ![]() Too be honest though, getting 345-350 rwhp on 91 Octane with no other mods in the PROcede v2 is pretty amazing too. ![]() |

I agree with you on much of that. That's why Riss is having a difficult time filling their GB on the Catless DP's. They probably should of developed a high flow catted DP first which would have much great mass appeal. However, it almost always a numbers game first and foremost, so making the most power first often trumps, but it might be at a cost of lost sales to them. As for what you'd see with catback exhaust, intake and V2, but on stock DP's on 92 Octane? Well, it would be a lot less than -10 from that set up. Without the DP's the tune itself would suffer a bit too (a bit less aggressive). As you noted, Shiv estimated 25 whp from the DP's and tune. Probably 15-20 from the DP's alone, and 5-10 from the slightly more aggressive tune. So with you set up but stock catted DP, you could expect 365 rwhp (25 rwhp less). You might get close to 370 rwhp from the extra octane (92 vs 91) but that would probably be it. With high flow catted DP's you could probably add 10 whp to that, for a total of 375-380 rwhp |

Visit www.rissracing.com and listen to the sound clips of catless with stock exhaust. Very good sound in most peoples opinion....
There is no smell issue...? In regards to the CEL WE still haven't gotton one however there are ways around it even with catless and no tune for it. But most of you have Procede and would have the SIM with the map to avoid it all togeather. |

My buddy's cousin just got a V2 and Vishnu exhaust installed. I'm going to take a look at his car before I go all out with Active Autowerkes +++++

what is the A/F ratio at 14ish PSI of boost? Considering the direct injection and 10.2 compression ratio of the motor makes it beneficial to make power and all, what is done about the ignition timing since it is not directly controlled? Is the knock prevented by the pro-cede unit by richening up the fuel mixture around peak torque, or is the stock knock control doing the work?

I wasnt sure if the procede system actively retards timing or not. Based on the instructions to install the unit, it seems like only a few wires, so I was curious as to how its actively retarding timing and monitoring, boost, IGN, RPM, road speed etc... |
