I have somewhat of a similar situation. I'm still running the 12-19 map because I have no issues. My fuel is a race gas mix of 95-96 octane, neven anything else. My first datalogs about 50 miles after updating the map, at stock 90% settings, produced peak boost between 12.8-13.8psi. I haven't done another datalog since.

I installed my boost gauge last week, which has a peak recall feature. The vacuum line to the electric pressure sensor is taken from a cross installed in the DV lines:

The gauge reads 0 with the ignition on and engine off. I'm now seeing peaks of 15.0 on the gauge. At lunch today I did a 2nd gear pull from about 2000 to just under 5000 when I had to get off the gas abruptly, and on that pull, the gauge recalled a peak of 16.5. I suspect that the 15.0 and 16.5psi peaks are just caused by the throttle closure and the sustained boost is something less than that. Do you agree?

edit: all is well. made a couple passes at the track tonight (trapping 108.12) and boost maxed out at 14.9psi, right where it should be.
