I am looking at getting these from Tire Rack. Everyone else on here seems to be getting the mesh kind of wheels, either the ASAs or other brands. I saw these and they look pretty good to me. Anyway, what does everyone else think?

For those of you that say you don't really like them, what other wheels do you like that aren't the mesh style? I saw that Poldim has some wheels similar to these, but not exactly the same, and people seemed to like them.

I don't know. The rims don't look special to me. It's kinda boring indeed. You want something that catches other drivers's eyes at the moment when they look at your car.

Sdorn, keep in mind the Tirerack viewer doesn't always give an accurate impression of what the wheel will look like on your car. I personally think the wheel itself looks good, but when matched with your car in the Tirerack viewer, not so good. My suggestion is to photoshop it if you can, or have someone do it for you. Or maybe you can google the wheel make and model and see if you can find a pic of it on other vehicles. That may give you an idea of what it might look like on your car.

Are these the 199s you are talking about? I don't really like them. They look like those awful wheels that come on the 5 series.

These are not exactly the same, but are similar to the ones you originally posted here.

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13178

In that thread, no rave endorsements for the wheel design were made.

I don't like those wheels either. You think they look the same as the ones I posted up top?

That car is white, too. Do you think they would look better on a black car? Those wheels on the car in HRC's post doesn't look very good.

It's all a matter of taste. This is what other people are buying besides mesh. Those wheels in your post doesn't look very good.

Now that I realize they look like the ones on the car in your post, I agree. They don't look good. That isn't your car is it?

No, the white e90 is HSU's and the other one that I posted in this thread is not my M3.
