Did you try with the 1-800 number live person? Very often we just equate the process step with the status #...they don't tell you hey! your car is in status 152, they'll tell you is in the paint shop or something like that.

yeah, i called, they said they dont give out that info any more. I was trying find out where in production it was. for example, is it in the paint shop. thanks

Ordered a mystic blue 330i yesterday. Website still shows it as flat black, so I'm in the waaaaaaay early stages of waiting.

While its not an E90, I put in an order for a 2006 E46 M3 on March 11th. I've tracked its progress with BMW OC and phone calls to BMW, usually the tracking information has been 1-3 days off with the OC.

03/11/2006 - Signed order at dealer for 2006 carbon black M3 / black leather + SMG + xenons
03/26/2006 - Car entered production
04/03/2006 - Finished Production
04/04/2006 - Awaiting Transport
04/09/2006 - Called BMW and they said it shipped today. BMW OC said it was finally en route on the 11th, and according to my dealer it went out on the 8th (just called him today the 14th).

My dealer said the estimated arrival time for the VPC in Jacksonville, FL was the 23rd, and that the car was shipped with Kline -- not Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics, contrary to what earlier pages of this thread stated it should be shipped with.

I guess I'll find out more when it gets in to port. I believe the ship might be the Ingolstadt.

If it does get to the VPC on time my dealer said I should have it the last week of the month :rocks:

Ordered my e90 on 4/03. The dealer changed a preexisting order.

Right now its in production and will be completed 4/26. I can't wait till its here. The dealer said it will be another three weeks from today, its the 24th now.

Jet Black 325i, 6MT, Sport, Premium, Xenons, Fold Down Rear Seat, Sat Prep, Black Leather/Burl

Great info. I visited http://www.2wglobal.com/www/WEP/index.jsp but don't seem to have the right input. I tried order #, VIN, ship name - but nothing works. Any ideas? Thanks.

When did the ship leave port? I found that the WW site was not updated with my VIN until after it had set sail. Check back every day.

Three weeks? That seem very optimistic to me. My car was completed on the 20th and it isn't even on a ship. Once on a ship it is another 2 1/2 weeks or some crap and then it hangs out on the dock for another week and then it gets on a enclosed trailer and that takes another week.

I just keep saying it is a month away for me and I am closer to NY than you being in Pittsburgh.

Don't worry about what the car says on the owner web site. That is not uncommon. Read the beginning of this thread and you will see that happens all the time.

Hmm Nivki call your CA and get a dealer network print out. It happens when dealer's convert a pre-existing inventory car, but ED cars shouldn't be from converted inventory orders. Your options may not show up properly and mines never did until a week before I picked-up it here in the States, but the model was always correct.

That's good to hear Nivki. Would really be a ruined trip to show-up and find that your car is a 25 and not a 30 as your ordered. It's one thing, if you show-up expecting a 25 and get a 30 instead, but not the other way around.

Well I read someone that got either a stick or auto when they wanted the other choice, but that was before pick-up. Probaby happen with options more than the actual model.

I think they wanted Auto and got a Stick since Stick is the default. You have to explicitly add Steptronic as an option.

Nivki: Wow it sounds like they really had it wrong as a 325. Glad to hear that you got it straightened out now though.
