High Altitude Logs

If some of you recall I hit limp from a 3rd-4th gear shift on the the latest 1-10-08 map. Since then I've been talking with Shiv and have been datalogging my car like no tomorrow trying to replicate this limp mode again. Shiv believes it is altitude related, but it has still been a mystery limp. So far, I have not been able to replicate this limp and the 1-10-08 has been running very stable with my car.

Question: For you high altitude people do you see any increase in boost with a dropin? My guess is VERY little if not none.

I thought I'd share some of my logs with you all and see what you thought. Let me break this down for all of you. All my logs were ran at 6300ft on piss Shell 91oct @ 90% UT. I'm going to bump my UT up to 92% this weekend, but I got my BMC drop-in so I wanted to do more logs with the BMC in, before upping the UT.

Ok here is the logs.....

Run #1 3rd Gear Pull

Run #2 3rd-4th Gear Pull

Run #3 4th Gear Pull

Don't expect to hit the 14.5-15psi max boost target at your altitude. The most I'd expect to see way up there is 12-12.5psi @ 5000rpm.

Shiv
Which I'm currently hitting already. I don't think I'll see a big improvement in boost at this alt. I do hope that upping the UT to 92% will help with the dip. I can feel it bad.... Do the logs look avg for this altitude though?

The 4th gear pull I ran out of room hence the shift at 6000.
